Birdsong
Timothy Taylor is pleased to present Birdsong, a group exhibition of works showcasing influential voices in contemporary British art, at the gallery’s London space. Spanning genres and generations, Birdsong presents an eclectic group of works by UK-based and British artists.
This program supports The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by cancer – supporting an institution where Taylor himself was treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma as a young man. The exhibition’s title is inspired by the title of Sebastian Faulks’ book of the same name, evoking a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of mortality.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer hospital which opened its doors in 1851. It is a centre of excellence with an international reputation for groundbreaking research and pioneering the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies, as well as specialising in cancer diagnosis and education. Their mission is to make national and global contributions to cancer research and treatment.Artists
