A major institutional survey of Ding Yi will be mounted this summer at Château La Coste, featuring over 30 works realised over the last forty years. Curated by Alfredo Cramerotti, Prediction and Retrospection presents Ding’s experimental, process-based, and traditional approaches to contemporary painting that draws upon Eastern philosophy and Western aesthetics.
