Screening: ‘Les Silences Rétiniens’ (Retinal Silences) | Simon Hantaï
‘Les Silences Rétiniens’ (Retinal Silences), 1976, to coincide with the artist’s current exhibition at the gallery. The film, made by documentary filmmaker and painter Jean-Michel Meurice, runs for 58 minutes and offers an in-depth look into the life and practice of the artist.
We are very excited to have academic and fellow artist Daniel Sturgis joining us to introduce the film, and then to chair an open discussion with the audience after the screening.
Coffee and cake will be served from 2.30pm, with the introduction taking place at 3pm.
Admission is free, however booking is essential as space is limited.
