Opening on the 6th September at the Guangdong Art Museum, Resistance and Persistence is Sean Scully’s second retrospective touring exhibition to take place in China. The title of the exhibition was taken from a collection of essays published by Sean Scully in 2006, which includes writings on Giorgio Morandi, Van Gogh and Mark Rothko. The exhibition runs until 9th October, when it will travel to the third and final venue; the Hubei Museum of Art, Wuhan from 10 January to 12 March 2017.
